Al-Assad, Blair review ME developments

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad made Tuesday evening a telephone call with British Prime Minister Tony Blair.
During the talk they exchanged the views on the Middle East peace process, the Iraqi situation and the importance of establishing a just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East on the basis of the Madrid terms of reference and the principle of "land for peace" and reaching settlement on all tracks.
