Brazil calls for enhancing trade with Morocco

The Brazilian ambassador to Morocco on Tuesday called for promoting commercial exchanges between his country and Morocco. It is High time Morocco and Brazil diversified their trade to encompass other products than phosphate Coffee and Sugar, Lauro Barbosa Da Silva Moreira told a Moroccan daily. Bilateral trade does not exceed US$ 200 million, and called for hoisting economic and commercial exchanges to the level of the "excellent" political ties binding Rabat and Brasilia.
"We are looking forward, with great hope, to the visit his majesty king Mohammed VI will pay to Brazil," he said, adding the visit will open wide horizons for the promotion bilateral cooperation.
