Angola's Dos Santos gets message from king Mohammed

President Jose Eduardo Dos Santos on Monday received a message from King Mohammed VI, the Moroccan Foreign Affairs and cooperation Department said in a release.
The message was handed to Dos Santos by Moroccan Higher Education, Cadres Training and Scientific Research Minister, Khalid Alioua. The official also handed the Angolan head of state an invitation from King Mohammed VI to visit Morocco, the department said, adding that Dos Santos accepted the invitation.
The Royal envoy and the Angolan President discussed several issues of common concern to Rabat and Luanda. They agreed to give a new momentum to bilateral cooperation in political, economic and cultural realms. Alioua voiced Morocco's readiness to contribute to the reconstruction drive in Angola. He informed President Dos Santos on the latest developments of the Moroccan Sahara issue and stressed Morocco's will to spare no effort to reach a definitive political solution to the issue within Morocco's kingty and territorial integrity. "President Dos Santos listened with interest to the explanations on the situation in the Maghreb and on our national cause, within the perspective of the coming meeting of the United Nations Security Council," the department said, adding the meeting took place "in a constructive and promising climate."
Angolan Foreign Affairs Minister, Joao Bernando De Miranda and Moroccan ambassador to Angola, Abdellah Aitelhadj, attended the meeting. During his stay in Luanda, Alioua, also a member of the political bureau of the Socialist Union of Popular Forces (USFP) met officials from the Angolan Popular Movement Party (MPLA). Talks focused on cooperation between USFP and MPLA.
