Algeria: seven were killed, 6 wounded in acts of violence

Several Algerian dailies yesterday announced that seven persons were killed including one policeman and 6 security men were injured on Monday in acts of violence between armed Islamists in Algeria. The papers said that one policeman was killed and other five wounded in a bomb explosion when a car was running in Baghleya in Teizi Ozo province.

The Algerian daily al-Watan said that 6 armed Islamists were killed in a bombardment carried out by helicopters of the Algerian army against one headquarters for the Islamists in Ein Tareq near Gleizan.
