Arab League - work group for boosting AL activities

Deputy Secretary General of the Arab League Nour al-Deen Hashad has underlined that the visits that were paid by (AL) Secretary general Amr Moussa to the Arab states stressed the existence of general Arab agreement on the importance of the existence of a new Arab League not a substitute one.
In a statement issued yesterday, Hashad indicated that Moussa forms a work group from the AL to follow the project of developing the League through studying projects of the development that occurred at similar international and regional organizations during the last forty years.
He added that the group is scheduled to submit his report to the next AL meeting that is scheduled to be held in Tunis 2004.
He pointed out to a suggested project to establish a joint Arab defense council, Arab security council, Arab justice court, and Arab parliament.
