The USA decieved the world on Iraq

In its rush for making a case for war against Iraq, the US made several claims, most important of which were related to Iraq owning and developing weapons of mass destruction, nuclear, biological and chemical. Also links to terrorism were made.

The links to terrorism were affirmed and denied by the US officials at the same time, with the CIA and even the US vice President making statements that there are no links by Iraq to terrorism, and then saying there are. But not an important enough point for our subject.

But Iraq possessing weapons of mass destruction was all the hype. The threats that Iraq posed by this ownership, or developments of such weapons, or "potential" development -- whatever that means, were the reason the world and the US public was being rallied and some coerced into joining the efforts for war.

The UK, before the US had made such claims, and decided last year, after much hype, not to reveal its evidence at the time, after it promised it will.

After intense and prolonged efforts, the US has not found any such weapons yet. And if they do, it really does not matter to what has already been clearly established, which is, that the government of the United States Of America lied to its citizens and the world, in that it did not have any real evidence that it claimed it had. For if it did have such evidence, it would have acted on this evidence and found what it claimed it so firmly knew about.

Earlier, we indicated before the war, that the US would not take "yes" for an answer from the Iraqis in order to avoid war, and we further indicated to reasons behind the war. The US committed a major aggression against a nation and a people, were there was little reason for it, and where better ways were at hand to deal with the issues, contrived or not.

The US government deceived its citizens and the world, and it further used deception to breach international law, and moral law, with total disregard and recklessness.
