Iraqi antiquities seized at the Jordanian borders

The director general of the Jordanian antiquities Fawaz al-Khreisha has announced that four attempts to smuggle Iraqi antiquities through the Jordanian borders were stopped.
In a press statement yesterday in Amman, al-Khreisha said that the smuggled antiquities are very valuable and of very ancient history and will be returned back to Iraq. He said that a group of Arab experts and archeologists will take part in the deliberations of the special conference which will be organized in Amman on the Iraqi antiquities.
