Syrian- Iranian building, construction cooperation

Syria's Minister of Industry Issam al-Zaeem and Iranian Minister of Housing and City Building Ali Abdullah Ali Zada discussed in Damascus yesterday the possibility of embarking on Syrian- Iranian joint industrial ventures.
During the meeting, the two sides also discussed the economic feasibility of a number of projects that may meet the requirements of the industry and markets.
The Iranian side expressed readiness for cooperation in sphere of the petrochemical and technology industries, indicating that the Iranian banks have shown readiness to support the Iranian companies that show desire to invest it Syria with support for up to 50 percent of the potential investment cost.
