On Kharazi's statements in Italy
Iran-USA, Politics, 5/10/2003

Iranian Foreign Minister, Kamal Kharazi, criticized vehemently the U.S. double standard policy towards the Arab-Israeli struggle. In a statement in Rome on Thursday, Kharazi underlined that the U.S. supports Israel which is an occupation force in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Kharazi stressed the necessity of establishment of a democratic Iraqi government which represents all classes of people and rejected all the U.S. allegations about his country's interference in Iraq's domestic affairs.

He expressed rejection of the U.S continuous accusations against Iran regarding its stances towards the international issues inspite of implementation of all obligations by Tehran towards boosting the international peace and combating terrorism.

Kharazi and his Italian counterpart stressed the necessity of respecting Iraq's regional sovereignty and Iraqi people's right to self-determination.
