Morocco in Brussels Seafood Fair

Morocco is participating in the largest seafood fair organized May 6-8 in Belgium, where it is showcasing Moroccan sea products.
Several companies and producers from more than 60 countries are participating in this 11th edition.
"A significant number of Moroccan professionals are taking part in the event because they are aware of the importance of this kind of encounters," Secretary general of the national federation of the industries of transformation of fisheries products, Najib Chaoui, told MAP.
Chaoui recalled that Europe is the most important market for Moroccan sea products, underlining the importance of a greater contribution of Moroccan professionals to such events.
Morocco's ambassador to Belgium and Luxembourg, Mustapha Salahdine, visited Wednesday the Moroccan stand that features a variety of products and specialties in the Moroccan sea products processing industry.
Another pavilion in the exposition hosts an exhibition of sea products equipment and technologies.
The Brussels fair, stretching over 26,000 m2, is the World's major sea products event. Incepted in 1993, the fair brings 1400 exhibitors today.
