Syrian chambers of commerce hold annual meeting

The General Committee of Syrian chambers of Commerce held in Aleppo yesterday its annual meeting.

Minister of Supply and Interior Trade, Bassam Mohamed Rustom, stressed in a speech that the ministry has been exerting intensified efforts to solve all the problems that commercial companies in Syria are facing.

He also reviewed the procedures that the ministry has taken in order to develop the laws of the interior market.

For his part, Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade, Ghassan Rifaee, stressed the importance of cooperation and intensifying the efforts to be able to face the current challenges in light of the new regional and external conditions.

He also asserted the importance of the role of the private sector in the economic growth process.

The chairman of the trade chambers, Rateb Al Shallah asserted in a speech the good Syrian economic conditions despite all difficult circumstances facing the Middle East.
