Atomic Energy wants to investigate theft claims in Iraqi facilities

The International Agency for Atomic Energy said that it had asked the US for permission to delegate a team to Iraq in order to investigate in reports of large scale looting operations in the nuclear enterprises there. The spokeswoman for the agency Milisia Fliming said that Mohamed ElBaradei, Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) sent a message to the USA asking for delegating a team to Iraq in order to inspect the conditions of the nuclear establishments there. She said the message was dated April 29th.
