Argentina eliminates visa duties for Moroccan nationals
Morocco-Argentina, Politics, 5/7/2003
Argentina's government has decided to eliminate visa duties for Moroccan nationals either tourists or businessmen, by virtue of a presidential decree published in the official bulletin (April 23th).
The decree, which was signed by President Eduardo Duhalde and Foreign Affairs minister, Carlos Ruckauf, recalls that Morocco grants Argentinean nationals unilateral preferential treatment by exempting them from visa duties. The Argentinean delegation to the 4th joint bilateral commission's works, held in Buenos Aires last January, had expressed its will to examine the elimination of visa duties on Moroccan passports.
