Rabat's 'Mawazin Festival' due on May 16-25

The second edition of Rabat's "Mawazin Festival" is scheduled on May 16-25 at the initiative of Maroc Culture Association.
The festival aims to contribute to the promotion of rapprochement between different world cultures.
The event also projects to bring the cultural diversity of the featured continents "without harming their authentic appeal," stress the organizers.
Uniting two sub-continents: Latin America and Sub-Saharan Africa, this encounter has invited artists from South Africa, Argentina, Burundi, Ghana, Mali, Brazil, Colombia, Senegal, Congo, Germany, France, Peru, Syria, Switzerland and Venezuela plus the host country Morocco.
