Al-Shara gets call from De Villepin

Syria's Foreign Minister, Farouk Al-Shara, received on Tuesday a phone call from French Foreign Minister, Dominique de Villepin. The conversation during the call dealt with the latest developments in Iraq and in the occupied Palestinian territories.
Al-Shara briefed De Villepin on the results of the U.S. Secretary of State, Colin Powell' s recent visit to Damascus. This phone call comes in the framework of consultation and exchange of opinions between Syria and France where both sides' viewpoints were identical regarding the continuation of contacts between the two countries.
