Union of Arab industry, agriculture chambers to meet in Manama

The Union of Arab chambers of industry and Agriculture will be meeting in Manama, Bahrain, May 11-12, president of the union, Salah Abu Ismail, said Sunday.
Abu Ismail told the press the meeting will ponder means to set up an Arab common market and an Arab free trade zone.
The role of the private sector in boosting trade and investment between Arab countries and its role in rebuilding Iraq are also on the agenda.
On the sidelines of the meeting, the executive committee stemming from the administrative council will hold its 17th meeting, Abu Ismail added.
