Egyptian trade fair to open in Casablanca

An Egyptian trade fair will open on May 7 in Casablanca with the participation of 100 public and private companies.
The week-long event, part of efforts to promote Egypt-made products in Morocco, will be organized by the Egyptian publishing house "Dar Tahrir."
On the fringes of the fair that will extend over a 5000 square meter area, meetings will be held with the press to publicize business opportunities in Egypt. Meetings between Moroccan and Egyptian businessmen are also scheduled.
Trade exchanges between Morocco and Egypt totaled US $55 million in 2002, compared to US $19 million in 1996.
