Omran confers with Algerian culture minister

Syria's Minister of Information Adnan Omran received on Monday the Algerian Minister of Communication and Culture, Mrs. Khleeda Tomi.
Talks during the meeting dealt with the current developments in the region and the role of the media in supporting Arab just causes and Arab solidarity in facing the standing challenges as well as the bilateral relations between the two states.
Omran stressed the "deep brotherly relations between the two countries and the necessity for enhancing them in all domains for the interests of the two countries particularly in the media field."
Omran briefed Tomi on the developments that Syria's media have witnessed.
For her part, Tomi expressed highly appreciation over Syria's stance towards Arab causes stressing the joint care on activating cooperation between the two particularly in cultural and media exchange fields.
