Arab chambers of commerce discuss Mubarak call for activation of Arab common market

The 94th session of the Arab Federation for Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture will tackle President Hosni Mubarak's call for activation of Arab common market and Arab free trade zone.

Chairman of the Egyptian Federation for Chambers Of Commerce (FEDCOC), and chairman of the session, Khaled Abu Ismail, said the role of the Arab private sector would be discussed.

"The Arab private sector could play an important part in post-war Iraq," he added.

"To realize the Arab economic integration implied a lot of work and cooperation among Arab countries," he expounded.

"The meeting would also deal with means to encourage investments in services sector, fiance and insurance," he clarified.
