Al-Zamaan: New Turkish border gate with Iraq

The Turkish daily al-Zamaan said yesterday that the Turkish authorities are currently preparing to open a new border gate with Iraq in an area close to the Syrian borders.
The paper explained that the new gate will be the main Gate after Khabour gate which was during the past years the only one through which passengers and goods were moving between the two countries.
The paper indicated that the old border gate will be ignored in the coming phase because Masoud al-Barazani and his forces are controlling the Iraqi area facing it and they commissioned large sums out of it.
