Jordanian police officer killed at Amman's airport

A Jordanian official yesterday announced that a police officer at Amman's airport was killed in a bag explosion at an inspection point in one of the airport's pavilions.
The official which asked not to be identified said that "a police officer at the airport was killed at the northern pavilion of the departure halls of the foreign airlines." The explosion took place while the bag was in an inspection and monitoring point." News reports said that the explosive was in the bag of a Japanese journalist he said he had transported it with other old things from Baghdad not knowing they are explosives.
The Japanese journalist was due to take a flight between Amman and Cairo on board of the Egyptian airlines company.
Earlier, navigation sources explained that the bag was due to be transported to a plane heading for Tel Aviv.
