Palestinians and Israelis receive Mideast 'road map

The U.S.-backed "road map" for Mideast peace was presented toÊ Palestinian and Israeli leaders on Wednesday, one day after a suicide bombing in Tel AvivÊÊ and at the first day of the new Palestinian cabinet after it's confirmation by the PLC. The map is a joint effort by the United States, the European Union, the United Nations and Russia. It calls for the establishment of a Palestinian state by 2005 and the rolling back of Israeli settlements.
