Al-Assad received the Japanese Foreign Minister

Syria's President Basar Al-Assad received the Japanese Foreign Minister Yoriko Kawaguchi. Talks during the meeting dealt with the situations in the region, the peace process and the bilateral relations between the two countries, and the important role Japan can play for realizing the just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East.
