Lebanese figures denounce accusations against Syria

The Lebanese Parliament has stressed unity of tracks between Syria and Lebanon denouncing the US unjustified accusations against Syria and that it is an attempt to force Syria abandon its pan-Arab positions.

During discussion of the new government statement, members of Lebanese Parliament, said that there will not be just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East if the Israeli forces do not withdraw from the occupied Golan Heights, Shebaa farms and allow the return of the Palestinian refuges to their homeland and establishment of the independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.

They underlined the necessity of boosting cooperation and coordination between Syria and Lebanon in facing the "Zionist plots."
