Abu Mazin rejects terrorism, illegal arms, Palestinian operation in Tel Aviv kills and wounds scores of Israelis

The Palestinian resistance retaliated to the Israeli aggressions and the commitment made by the Palestinian prime minister Mahmoud Abbas to halt the armed conflict by implementing a "suicide attack" near the American embassy in Tel Aviv that resulted in killings and woundings of scores of Israelis.

He commander of the Israeli police Yusi Sebton said that "a suicide attacker blew up himself at the entrance of Mikes Palace Cafe and caused scores of victims." He added "the guard seemed to have had succeeded in preventing the suicider from entering the Cafe.

An Israeli medical source and another in the police said that three persons were killed and 65 wounded in the operation. The medical source said that 6 of the wounded are in critical condition. The police cordoned the area which is close to the American embassy which, according to eye witnesses, was not exposed to any damage.

However, while the Palestinian legislative council was ratifying, following short interventions, the formation of the new Palestinian government chaired by Mahmoud Abbas ( Abu Mazin) and its program to "reject terrorism," the Israeli helicopters in Gaza and the Israeli tanks in Bethlehem and Jenin were assassinating five Palestinians by the fire of its shells.

The American administration welcomed giving confidence to the Palestinian government amid indications on handing over the Road Map today or tomorrow to each of the Palestinian and Israeli prime ministers.

In a meeting to mark the birth of the new Palestinian government, some 51 members of the members of the Palestinian council gave confidence to the government which was opposed by 18 members.

The meeting was coincided with demonstrations that broke into the Palestinian presidential headquarters and some of them voiced support for President Arafat and others called for releasing the Palestinians detained in the Israeli jails.

Abu Mazin stressed that "there is no weapon (illegal arms), except the legal weapons which will be used only to keep security and the public order, the enforcement of the law and protection of citizens and there are no decision centers, except that the legitimate decision of the ground. This people have only one authority." On the other hand, the Israeli forces killed one Palestinian activist in Gaza by an air raid, while two other Palestinians were killed by the Israeli soldiers bullets in the West Bank.

In the West Bank, Israeli military sources said the Israeli soldiers killed in al-Khuder village near Bethlehem two Palestinians in a fire exchange. Israeli and Palestinian sources said the two men are members of al-Aqsa martyrs groups.
