Camel reduction project

The Committee supervising the camel reduction project in Dhofar Governorate held a seminar here today under the auspices of Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamoud al-Ma'amari, Wali of Mirbat.
The lecturer spoke about the goals of the project intended to reduce the numbers of camels at Dhofar mountains by 95%.
He also shed light on the economic, social and environmental importance of the project which is implemented within the context of the national strategy to improve pastures and sustainable development in Dhofar Governorate.
