Al-Shara confers with Russian deputy FM

Syria's Foreign Minister, Farouk al-Shara received on Monday in damascus Russia Deputy Foreign Minister, Alexander Sultanov. Talks during the meeting dealt with the latest developments in the region particularly the situation in Iraq and the necessity for intensifying international efforts through the UN for ending the foreign occupation to Iraq and maintaining the unity and sovereignty of the Iraqi territories.
The two sides agreed upon continuing consultation and coordination between the two countries.
