Sudanese - UAE investment projects
United Arab Emirates-Sudan, Politics, 4/28/2003

The United Arab Emirates UAE minister of oil and board chairman of the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, Obeid Bin Seif al-Nasiri, discussed with the Sudanese minister of finance and the economy Al Zubeir Ahmad al- Hassan areas of joint cooperation between the two states and its various prospects.

The Sudanese minister proposed several investment opportunities in Sudan especially in the areas of the infrastructure and its needed supply requirements and the possibility of the Bank contribution into financing it.

Worthy mentioning that the bank contributes to financing several agricultural and transport projects in Sudan and that the volume of trade between Sudan and the UAE reached in 2002 some 500 million Dirham.
