Moroccan judiciary delegation meets president of French court of cassation

A Moroccan judiciary delegation, led by Chief Justice, Driss Dahak, currently on a four-day work visit to France, has met president of French court of Cassation, Guy Kanivet and other French magistrates.
The visit which is part of a twinning convention between the two high jurisdictions aims to probe with French interlocutors mutual judiciary cooperation and set up a 2004-2006 collaboration program between the two jurisdictions.
The convention offers opportunities to exchange visits, documents and jurisprudence and organize joint conferences symposiums, meetings and training sessions for magistrates, clerks and the judiciary staff..
The Moroccan delegation also met president of the French constitutional council, Yves Guena, and members of the high council of the French Magistracy. This meeting allowed the Moroccan delegation to follow representations on the role of the French constitutional council and its action in developing and modernizing the French legal system.
