Moroccan develops dietetic Couscous

A Moroccan man said he has developed a couscous able to stabilize the blood sugar and cholesterol levels, Morocco's TV channel 2M reported Friday.
Abdessalam Ben Ghazi told the channel the food made of Barley and rye, can cut from 12 to 12.8% blood sugar and cholesterol levels in blood. Ben Ghazi had already invented a rice-derived couscous for persons with digestive diseases and a dish for people with heart diseases.
The inventor has won several national and international prizes including one from the World Health Organization (WHO), an oscar distinction in Bulgaria and the encouragement prize of the American center of agricultural research in California.
