Al-Assad meets with Iranian envoy

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad received yesterday morning in Damascus the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Mohammed al-Sadr and an accompanying delegation in which Al-Assad received a message from the Iranian President Mohammed Khatami on the latest developments in the region including the Iraqi issue.
