King Mohammed appoints new central bank governor

Morocco's King Mohammed VI appointed Wednesday Abdellatif Jouahri Wali (governor) of Morocco's central bank Bank Al-Maghrib.
Jouahri had already served in the government as minister of finance and minister in charge of public sector reform. He has also been at the head of several banking institutions such as the Banque Marocaine du Commerce Exterieur (BMCE Bank) and the Moroccan Inter-Professional pension Fund (CIMR), for which he developed a restructuring program. Jouahri replaces Mohamed Sekkat.
