Information minister meets with Peterlein

Syria's information minister, Adnan Omran, received yesterday in Damascus Chairman of the Arab- French Solidarity Society Lucien Peterlein.

Talks during the meeting dealt with the latest developments in the region and their regional and international repercussions.

Talks also dealt with the Syrian- French relations and ways of developing them in various fields.

Omran stressed the depth of the Syrian- French relations and the importance of developing these relations in the interests of the two countries.

For his part, Peterlein underlined the feelings of respect of the French community toward Syria and her stances against war and with peace that is built on the international resolutions and the United Nation charter.
