Iraqis: No to US occupation; marines killed in bomb explosion

The US central leadership in Qatar at al Seleyah camp announced on Wednesday that three American marines were killed in an accidental blow up of an RPJ missile shelling near the city of Kuwait to the southern East of Baghdad.

A statements issued by the central American leadership said that the US soldiers of the first marine contingent were opening fire in a training, using this weapons when the shell went off accidentally.

The incident took place on Tuesday evening and resulted also in wounding 7 persons in addition to the three killed ones.

On the death of anniversary of al-Hussein Bin Ali, the third Shiite Imam, Kerbala, where al-Hussein was killed and buried, was converted into a "volcano" where Kerbala which wept al-Hussein as never done before, sent a clear warning to the world as a whole, especially the USA to honor the will of the Iraqi people and their right to self determination.

Massive demonstrations took the streets on Wednesday around the shrine of Imam al-Hussein in the holy Shiite city during which crowded masses chanted slogans both in Arabic and English saying "no for the American occupation, and no "to all Jalabis" in remarks to Ahmad Jalabi, the leader of the Iraqi National Congress who is supported by the US. A large banner was raised saying "no for the military government" and "yes for a democratic government elected by the Iraqi people."
