Morocco moves to eradicate unhealthy housing in northern areas

Moroccan authorities in the northern cities of Tangiers and Tetouan have selected 45,000 households to benefit a program to fight unhealthy housing program over the next eight years.
The $ 173.3-million program, to be co-financed by the state, local councils and recipients, targets 37,000 households living in under-equipped districts and 8,000 shanty-towns dwellers.
