Al-Mannar: Iraqi opposition members to visit Israel
Iraq-Israel, Politics, 4/22/2003

It was decided following contacts between Washington and Israel to delegate several Iraqi opposition leaders including Ahmad Jalabi, Wafiq al-Samara'e, three leaders of the Shiite figures and others from various opposition organizations to Israel in a visit lasting five days during which they will meet with Israeli political and military officials.

The Palestinian daily al-Mannar ( the minaret ) quoted certain circles as saying that the forthcoming rule in Iraq under the supervision of the American forces will take a decision recognizing Israel and founding a diplomatic representation between Israel and Baghdad.

Israel will also delegate to Baghdad experts in various areas to help the new rule and to supervise the implementation of programs and projects in the Iraqi territories at the support of the USA. N.
