UAE president, Mubarak hold talks in Abu Dhabi

United Arab Emirates (UAE) President, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan has discussed with the Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak developments of conditions in Iraq and the Palestinian question.
The UAE news agency said yesterday that Sheikh Zayed and President Mubarak discussed also bilateral relations existed between the two states and means of developing them.
Sheikh Khaleifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi crown prince and deputy commander of the armed forces yesterday discussed with President Mubarak latest developments at the regional and international levels and strengthening the Arab ranks to withstand current challenges and achieving security and stability in the region.
This visit comes within a tour during President Mubarak visited each of Syria and Bahrain. He visited visit Saudi Arabia later.
Reports said talks by President Mubarak with King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz, and Sheikh Zayed dealt with the current developments in Iraq in the post war era, the position in the occupied Palestinian territories and the us threats to Syria.
The three leaders agreed on the need for rallying efforts for maintaining Arab interests and confronting current challenges. Egypt's Minister of Information Safwat Al-Sherif said the President was keen during his meeting with the Arab leaders in Riyadh, Damascus, Manama and Abu Dhabi on consulting and outlining the course of Arab action in the coming stage.
