Egypt-Libya company to fit Libyan cities with Egyptian natural gas

Egypt's Minister of Petroleum, Sameh Fahmi said the coming few months would witness active Egypt-Libya oil cooperation due to putting into effect a number of agreements already signed by the two countries.
An Egyptian-Libyan oil and natural gas company was set-up at capital of $ 100 million, 50% of which were financed by Libyan side.
The company operates the execution of natural gas pipelines, he added.
The company will also carry the Egyptian natural gas from Egyptian western desert fields to Libyan cities.
Top Egyptian and Libyan engineers have studied a number of new projects including carrying Libyan oil for refinement in Egyptian facilities, he said.
