Arab NGOs acting in childhood fields meet in Cairo

Arab Non-governmental organizations active in the realms of childhood will hold a meeting next week, said the Childhood and Development Arab Council. The encounter aims to draft a document gathering ideas and concepts of the Arab civil society concerning Arab Childhood's decennial plan (2004/2014) that will be adopted at governmental level at a meeting scheduled next June.

The meeting will also screen means to reinforce the role of NGOs in improving the condition of Arab childhood, in parallel efforts made by Arab governments.
