Arab, Foreign rejection of American accusations against Syria

Swedish Prime Minister, Guran Berson has stressed that any military action against Syria is absolutely not on the agenda.

In a statements to the reporters after his meeting with French President Jacques Chirac in France, Berson indicated that he urged the U.S. to solve its disputes with Syria peacefully stressing the importance of solving problems in the framework of the international legitimacy.

For its part, Tehran Radio and TV condemned the US. accusations against Syria stressing that these accusations serve the "Zionist Lobby and its interests and expansionist policy in the region."

In its press commentary yesterday, the radio expressed appreciation over Syria's wise stances under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad dealing with the US. accusations against Syria.

It expressed that these accusations serve the Israeli interest in the region.

In Egypt, Foreign Minister Ahmed Maher and Political Advisor of the Egyptian President Osama al-Baz also expressed their country's condemnation of the US. accusations against Syria stressing the importance of solving any disputes peacefully in order to avoid the region any dangers.

Another condemnation of the US. accusations is voiced by Austria's officials who indicated that these accusations are not true, and described the relations between Syria and Austria as good and frank, and the relation between the two presidents "Bashar al-Assad and Klestil" has always been good.
