CNN: Americans arrest Abu al-Abbas in Baghdad

An American official has announced that the US forces arrested in Baghdad the leader of the Palestine Liberation Front, Abu al-Abbas, who is accused of planning the highjacking the Italian ship Achille Lauro in 1985 during which one American passenger was killed.
CNN said that Abu al-Abbas ( Muhammad Abbas ) was arrested by the American forces "in Baghdad or nearby it." An American official said that Abu al-Abbas was arrested during a breaking in operation into a flat on Tuesday evening in one of Baghdad's suburbs.
