Egypt considers human rights council

The National Democratic Party (NDP) Secretariat Office Board under Safwat Al-Sherif, who doubles as Information Minister, reviews Wednesday a report by NDP Policies Secretary Gamal Mubarak on two projects to set up a national council for human rights, abolition of law no. 105 on state security courts and amendment of some articles in the penal code and criminal procedures.
