Al-Assad confers with al-Bashir

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad and his Sudanese counterpart Omar Hassan al-Bashir held on Monday a meeting. Talks during the meeting dealt with the latest developments in the region and bilateral relations between the two states.
Earlier, the Sudanese president and an accompaning delegation arrived in Damascus in a two-day official visit.
