Syrian community in Australia holds annual conference

The Arab Syrian Community's Association in Australia held in Melbourne, Australia its annual conference.

During the conference, speeches were delivered expressed high appreciation over the national and pan- Arab stance of President Bashar al-Assad and his care for their affairs by establishing the Ministry Expatriates in Syria.

The speeches welcomed the 56th foundation anniversary of the Baath Arab Socialist Party, and the 57th anniversary of Syria's National Day.

At the conclusion of the conference, Refaat Yousef Hanna was elected head of the association, Ali al-Tarsisi was elected deputy, and Mamdouh Japer was elected secretary general of the association.
