Saddam Hussein's half brother arrested

A Kurdish TV said yesterday that the US-led forces arrested yesterday Watban, half brother of Saddam Hussein. The KTV TV network, which is supervised by the Kurdistani Democratic Party led by Masoud al-Barazani said that Watban Ibrahim al-Hassan, half brother of Saddam who had previously the post of the minister of the interior and other several sensitive posts was arrested on Sunday by the coalition forces in Rabee'a area to the northern west of al-Musel.

Watban who occupied the post of an advisor at the Iraqi Presidency, is the brother of Barazan Ibrahim al-Hassan, the half brother also for the Iraqi President about whom a close source to his family in Cairo said he was killed in an American -- British raid which targeted his farm in al-Ramadi area to the west of Baghdad.

Watban's name was stated in the list published by the US on Friday evening for the wanted Iraqi figures and the pictures of this list was printed on cards to be circulated in Iraq.
