Al-Shara gets phone call from Kharazi, al-Tureiki

Syria's Foreign Minister Farouk al-Shara received on Saturday a phone call from his Iranian counterpart Kamal Kharazi.

The conversation dealt with the latest developments in the region particularly on the Iraqi arena and their dangerous repercussions.

The two sides stressed the necessity for ending the chaos in the Iraqi cities and the deteriorated human situation in Iraq.

Later, al-Shara received a phone call from his Libyan counterpart Ali Abdul Salam al-Tureiki whose country chairs the current session of the Arab League Council.

The conversation dealt with the latest developments on the Iraqi arena and the chaos in the Iraqi cities and the responsibility of the occupation forces according to Geneva Convention of the catastrophic situations in Iraq.
