Scores of wounded, detained Palestinians, Israel continues aggressions

The Israeli occupation forces yesterday launched a vast campaign of arrest that targeted scores of the Palestinians in Qalandia and Nablus and Wadi Gaza village where scores of tanks backed by artillery leveled vast areas of lands.
Meantime, the Israeli forces mobilized more than 30 tanks at al-Shuhadaa cross- road near Natsareim settlement to the south of Gaza, three Palestinians were wounded in attacks by the Israeli settlers against the city of Hebron at a time when the city of Tammoun was exposed to a campaign of arrest and the Israeli helicopters bombarded a cemetery in Khan Younis and wounded five citizens as a result.
Eye- witness said that a British activist ( 24 year old) was among other members of the international solidarity movement holding a camp of protest when the Israeli tanks started to fire bullets against them and against Palestinian children.
Meantime, the secretary general of the Arab League Amr Moussa has called for ending the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories and to finding a peaceful settlement to the Palestinian issue as soon as possible.
In statements he made on Thursday following his meeting with the UN secretary general Kofi Annan, Moussa warned against the grave conditions in the Palestinian territories that can not be ignored.
Moussa welcomed any serious efforts to implement to Road Map without set preconditions and guarantees to that Israel will abide by its commitments to the USA.
