Bahrain shows readiness to receive war wounded
Bahrain-Iraq, Politics, 4/11/2003

The King of Bahrain Sheikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has ordered to draw special arrangements to receive and provide medical treatment for the Iraqi people who were wounded in the war.

Bahrain's news agency quoted King Hamad as saying "we all feel pain over what the brotherly people are exposed to in this crisis. We have seen what damages are inflected on the civilians as a result of the war." He added he had ordered coordination of official and people's efforts in the Kingdom to provide humanitarian aid and necessary medical treatment for the Iraqis as soon as possible.
