Algerian, German ministers of interior meet in Berlin

The German minister of the interior Oto Shelly, who was in a short visit to Algeria discussed with his Algerian counterpart Nour Eddine Yazid Zarhouni means of developing cooperation between the two countries as well as the fate of the missing western tourists in the Algerian desert.
In a statement, the German ministry of the interior said yesterday that the Algerian authorities is exerting all efforts to disclose the fate of 15 Germans, 8 Austrians; 4 Swiss, one Dutch, and One Swedish lost in the Algerian desert.
The statement added that the Algerian minister called on his Algerian counterpart to visit Germany at a date which was not set yet.
A security source in Algeria expressed conviction that the tourists incurred into the desert without any guidance and might be lost there.
