Omran's statement on murdering journalists by American raids

The head of Arab Information Ministers Council, Adnan Omran, has firmly condemned the American bombardment of the journalists' hotel in Baghdad calling on all concerned parts to take the necessary procedures to punish those who tried to suppress the flow of free information.
In a statement today, Omran expressed sadness for the killed journalists because of the US bombardment stressing condemnation of the American brutal practices in Iraq that contradict all international laws.
He asserted that the "brutal act of targeting information centers such as al-Jazeera and Abu Dhabi channels' centers as well as the headquarter of most of the journalists at Palestine hotel reveals that the aggressors aimed at suppressing free information act in order to cover the human dangerous catastrophes committed against Iraqi people."
He also called on all journalist and information agencies and unions to reveal the real situation in Iraq to the world opinion stressing the importance of saving journalists' lives.
